REWE Delivery Service is Germany's leading provider of fresh food delivery. Since 2012, REWE has been reliably providing private and business customers with high-quality products, opening up new regions every year. Since January 2020, Urbify has been a proud partner of this success story.

Food logistics challenges and Urbify's solution

Food delivery has special requirements: From compliance with the cold chain to replacement items to deposit management — quality and reliability are paramount. Urbify meets these challenges with tailor-made partner management software. Not all orders are delivered by REWE itself, which is why a network of service-oriented transport partners is essential. Urbify's technology enables quality-oriented management of these partners and makes the delivery service scalable across Germany.

Focus on quality and customer satisfaction

From the outset, Urbify has focused on the quality of delivery. Even with rapid growth and short-term capacity adjustments, service quality remains the ultimate goal. Urbify is convinced: Only excellent last-mile delivery creates real added value and a long-term, trusting partnership.

What began as a small partnership in Berlin has developed into a Germany-wide success story: Today, around 2,500 customers are supplied daily with the support of Urbify. Customer service is available from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. — for maximum customer satisfaction through friendly and proactive communication.

Technology and innovation for the delivery service of the future

Urbify focuses on digital innovation: With its own driver app, the standardized REWE processes are mapped and supplemented with features such as driver training and automatic scheduling. This creates transparency in cooperation and provides drivers with optimal support. Since January 2022, Dennis Hartmann has been strengthening Urbify's food division as managing director.
